JASON MATHEW PT, DPT, CIDN,CPT, MDT
We are excited to announce the addition of Jason Matthews, DPT to our Rehab Advantage and Sports Medicine team. Jason graduated from Dublin High School in Dublin, GA, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology degree from the University of Georgia. He attended Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT). In addition, Jason became certified in Dry Needling and obtained his McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) Certification from the McKenzie Institute. He holds a certification as a Personal Trainer (CPT) from the Athletics and Fitness Association of America. In addition, he is certified in Functional Movement Screenings, Spinal and Extremity Manipulation, and is a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Jason says, “My passion for physical therapy allows me to create a focused, tailored, recovery plan to jumpstart the body’s natural ability to heal. My goal is to help patients move well, live well and perform well! It is gratifying to help those in my hometown rediscover life without pain.
Jason and his wife, Ria, live in Dublin, GA with their 3 children, Olivia, Lana and Ethan and their German Shepherd, Kaiser. During his free time, Jason likes cooking, working out and playing with his children.
