Bio:
Micah is in his nineteenth year of providing physical therapy services for the Georgia Department of Corrections. He enjoys performing in an ever changing and challenging prison environment. He has the opportunity to interact with a vast diversity of patients from all walks of life along with a plethora of diagnoses. Micah says, “It is rewarding and a blessing to be in a position to provide a bit of joy, laughter, hope and normalcy to an often dim and forgotten realm of society. It is satisfying to encourage and push my patients to exceed their expectations and to maximize their potential. A book could be written about the people, the stories, and the experiences throughout the years.”
Micah and his wife, MaryAnn reside in Aiken, SC. They have two adult children, Micah Jr and Marissa, and three canine children, a Cane Corso – Bagherra, a German Shorthaired – Gauge, and a Frenchie – Romeo and one feline – Spooky. Micah enjoys playing, coaching and watching sports; Go Bills, Braves and Gamecocks! You can often find him in the outdoors hunting, fishing and shooting, in the gym weight training and training Krav Maga, on a nice day riding his Harley and on a nice evening enjoying a cigar and bourbon.
